Suitable to attend in preparation from 17 weeks. 1 booking is for 1 parent and baby/ twins. Light refreshments will be provided for parents. Our Starting Solids Weaning Workshops aims to help you to understand the different approaches to starting foods for your baby. Our course is packed with information and practical support to help you to understand what your baby needs and how to go at their pace to make the journey fun and exciting. There will be a space for your baby to play and explore whilst you get a better understanding of how to start this new chapter in your parenting journey. Topics covered: Baby's body physiology of starting solids Signs of Readiness How to present food Spoon Feeding (Parent Led Weaning) Baby Led Weaning Milk Attitudes towards foods Meal Times Equipment We will also look at early Oral Health and Teething for your baby. You will gain access to an online portal where you can review all the information covered in the session and signposted to appropriate videos to help you in this journey. As a gift from me, you will receive a silicone teether for your baby and a Eco- Friendly Bamboo Toothbrush for your baby from Bamboo Buddy.
