TIP: If Birth Partner put their hand on bump, whilst mum relaxes, the baby may be more inclined to move so you can feel baby! As mother relaxes, her uterine muscles relax and so baby has more space to play!

MINI MASSAGE
NURTURING BOND
Before babies are able to understand language, we often communicate and comfort them through touch. For example, if a baby cries, parents will hold, cuddle or stroke them.
Baby massage is part of this natural impulse to soothe, protect and bond with our baby.
Our Mini Massage course is one the most loved and popular parent and baby courses provided by Mystri Mumma.
Parent Nurture is important so as well as providing a relaxing and sensory experience for your baby, I aim to support you in your journey through parenthood.

Each week we focus on different parts of baby's body to massage along with nursery rhymes to engage them with; a relaxation/ poem reading for the parents and some time for baby to explore and play with their sensory baskets whilst you enjoy some social time.

ABOUT MINI MASSAGE
WHAT IS MINI MASSAGE?
Mini Massage is the gentle, rhymic stroking of your baby's body using your hands. As part of the massage routine, you may gently manipulate parts of your baby's body as shown by your qualified Mini Massage Instructor.
You may choose to sing, rum or softly talk to your baby as you are massaging them.
WHEN TO START MINI MASSAGE
It is recommended to start a Mini Massage course after your baby is 6 weeks and you have both had your 6 week check. Please inform your instructor of any health conditions your baby may have prior to attending the classes so you can both be supported.

Mini Massage Booklet
Mystri Mumma's Mini Massage booklet has beautiful illustrations and guidance's of all the massage routines and coinciding nursery rhymes covered in our course. This means if you forget anything you have it at hand to remind you. It's great for your partner to use to practice if they cannot attend our once a month Secondary Parent Mini Massage class.
Baby Massage Oil
We use Fractioned Coconut Oil which has been approved for all skin types.
Coconut is a solid oil (at low temperatures). Fractionation is a heating process, to extract only the liquid. Because of this process, many of the potential allergens are removed. However, a patch test is still required which we will complete in Class 1.
Each week your baby will receive a small sensory basket to explore should they not consent to the massage or be awake at the end of the class.
