frequently asked questions
What makes this hypnobirthing educator training unique?
This training is built from over 7 years of hands-on experience as a hypnobirthing educator and doula. It’s not a “sit and listen” course — it’s interactive, practical, and grounded in real-world birth work. You’ll also gain cultural awareness and an understanding of how birth is supported across the world — a crucial skill for working inclusively with families from all backgrounds.
Who is this course for?
This training is perfect for doulas, midwives, antenatal professionals, perinatal workers, or anyone passionate about empowering families through birth. You don’t need any prior teaching experience — just a genuine desire to make a difference.
Is the course accredited or recognised?
The course is highly respected and recommended by midwives and professionals across Leicester, known for its inclusive, evidence-based, and empowering approach to teaching
How long is the training and how is it delivered?
The course is delivered in a hybrid format: 2 live online training days and 2 in-person days — combining flexibility with the benefit of hands-on learning and connection.
Do I get everything I need to start teaching?
Yes! You’ll receive complete teaching guides (rather than rigid lesson plans), ready-made resources, inclusive activities, hypnobirthing tracks, and scripts — everything you need to begin teaching straight away.
Will my teaching style have to follow your exact format?
Not at all. You’ll be encouraged to teach in a way that feels authentic to you. The framework is there to support you, but your personality and voice are what make your course special.
Can I adapt the content as I gain experience?
Absolutely. This training supports your autonomy and growth. As you gain confidence and experience, you’ll be encouraged to adapt and evolve your course to reflect your own strengths and style.
What kind of activities are included?
You’ll learn how to lead fun, thought-provoking, and inclusive exercises that invite families to reflect, discuss, and leave feeling empowered and informed. These have all been trialled an tested over the years and have brought back amazing results and feedback from expectant parents.
Will I get business guidance?
Yes — you’ll receive a full business start-up model and content calendar so you can begin marketing your classes before you even finish training. You’ll also get advice on branding, social media, pricing, and building community trust.
Do you offer support after the course finishes?
Yes. You’ll receive ongoing support, guidance, and encouragement after you qualify. My goal is to see you grow in confidence, autonomy, and success as both an educator and a business owner.
Do I need business experience?
No experience is needed. The course is designed to give you both the tools to teach and the strategy to grow your business confidently.
Is this course inclusive to everyone?
Yes. Everyone is welcome — regardless of background, gender, religion, or experience level.
Why is cultural awareness included?
Because birth is not the same everywhere, and understanding how culture, belief, and family traditions shape birth experiences makes you a more empathetic and effective educator.
As a woman of colour, will I feel represented and supported?
Absolutely. As a Hindu, Gujarati woman of colour, I recognise the importance of representation in the birth world. This training was created to empower more diverse educators — especially women of colour — to step into birth work with confidence and pride.
Where does the in-person training take place?
Training is based in Leicester, with accessible venues and a warm, supportive environment.
Can I talk to you before booking?
Of course! I’d love to chat and help you decide if this training is the right fit for you. Drop me an email with your questions and availability and we can arrange a Zoom catch up!
