postnatal doula

heard, held, honoured

Pooja helped me thrive

Pooja's postpartum support made me feel truly heard, held, and cared for during those precious but overwhelming early weeks. Her calm presence and gentle guidance gave me the confidence and space to recover and enjoy my baby.

you deserve to be looked after too

Pooja supported our family

Having Pooja's support after the birth was invaluable for our whole family, and knowing my wife was so well cared for gave me peace of mind. She provided practical help and reassurance that allowed us both to settle into parenthood with confidence.

mothering the mother

when you need it the most

We are so seen and celebrated in pregnancy right? People we know and even strangers don't hold back on giving you compliments...

"Oh you're glowing!"

"Pregnancy really suits you."

"You're going to be such a wonderful mum."

And yet suddenly when baby is born- it's almost like you never existed?

People want to come and see the baby but who is coming to see you?

Everyone brings clothes, toys and items for the baby but who is looking after you? Feeding you? Nurturing you?

Sleep deprivation, personal pressures, external pressures, unsolicited advise, the thoughts of "am I doing it right?" whilst learning about everything in your new life all at once.

You were never meant to manage that alone babe!

But you certainly deserve to be held in this journey. It's not a luxury, it's a necessity because we all know you are the foundation for your baby and your home.

When you are seen, heard and cared for- everything else falls into place. You don't need to have all the answers or everything figured out- but I can help you work through these moments until you become more confident in learning about the mother in you.

I'm not here to hold your baby.

I'm here to hold you Mumma.

bella & jamie

We honestly don’t know how we would have managed those early weeks with twins without this support. We don't have any family local to us and no other means of support until we found Pooja. From help with feeding and bathing to gentle emotional reassurance and practical support around the home, everything made such a difference. Pooja has the warmest soul and we recommend her to everyone without a second thought!
