part 1 undersatnding a birthing person

Before we can even look at Hypnobirthing and how it works, we need to understand the diversity of people you are privileged to support. You will not just be a person, but an integral part of their journey to meet their baby so it is important to understand their needs before we do anything further.

part 2 the science of hypnobirthing

Hypnobirthing is not a type of birth, it is an educational course that incorporates a range of tools and techniques to aid the birthing person's journey.

We look at pre- conceptions of birth and how the fear- tension- pain cycle can affect labour and birth.

part 3 the birthing body

The biggest worry a birthing person may have is in relation to the "pain" they will experience during childbirth. Although Hypnobirthing does not eliminate pain, the tools used can reduce the intensities and encourage the process.

We will also look at the birth hormones.

part 4 factors to consider

Breathing Techniques

All participants will receive an interactive electronic guide to follow the workshop with. This guide will have all the information we speak about and have exercises we will discuss in the workshop to deepen your knowledge.

There will be a set of 6 birth affirmation cards included as part of the guide.

There will be an opportunity to buy a complete printed affirmation set and positive labour & birth card set at a reduced price should you wish to do so.
